Love Poem

In lieu of writing a lot about how much I love my hubby and how lucky I am to be married to him (very lucky), I’d like to share a poem I love (And read to him a lot because I’m just corny like that).

“In your light I learn how to love.

In your beauty, how to make poems.

You dance inside my chest

where no one sees you,

but sometimes I do,

and that sight becomes this art” -Rumi

My favorite lines are these:  “You dance inside my chest/where no one sees you/but sometimes I do.”   What an amazing way to describe the experience of loving another human being, of holding them close to your heart.

AND to let all any readers know that I’ve started another blog as well, dedicated to poetry, wisdom, freedom, and free flowing emotions due to my love affair and current obsession with poetry written by Rumi.

The address is:

But this will still be the place where I’ll post all beautiful things that inspire me, music, pictures, websites, and little thoughts.

Happy Valentines Day!
